Is it safe?

At Tiger-Rock Martial Arts, the safety of our members is a top priority. Our certified instructors carefully demonstrate each form and each move so that members can perform them properly. In addition, we encourage students to train at their own pace—we will never, ever rush a student to do something before he or she is ready. Be rest assured that we will make your time on the mat as safe as possible. And for additional peace of mind, please note that all of our certified instructors are trained to administer First Aid, if necessary.

Will I get hurt?

Martial arts training is indeed a physical, athletic activity. However, your chances of getting hurt are not any higher than participating in a pick-up game of basketball or playing football with friends. We are pleased to say that we have not a member experience a significant, life-altering injury on our mat. We stress safety, personal pace, working within your physical ability.

Is it fun?
